Who will decide?

What a time for the H1N1 virus to enter the country - the festive season’s just begun.

Janamasthami (Dahi-Haandi) & Ganapathi-Visarjan (Ganesh Chaturthi) – the 2 communal festivals celebrated in humongous numbers – are on its way.

BEAT THIS …
The Govt is still debating whether to but a ban on public celebrations or just do away with precautionary pamphlets!

Didn’t we learn from Mexico & Italy, how to manage the epidemic spread quickly and efficiently!!

Or is it the Democratic way to control the population!
Who shall I ask this question – Gulam Nabi Azad – our minister of Health & Family Welfare?

Sir, perhaps you could enlighten us here!

H1N1 - Swine Flu

Pune has been declared the most polluted city of India – 07 Aug 2009

All public places have been closed – Schools, Colleges, Malls and even Multiplexes
The state government is trying everything to monitor the increasing number of swine flu cases in the city.
But isn’t this a tad-bit-too-late?

Perhaps the magnanimity of the proliferating death tolls hadn’t hit us then
Or
Perhaps we assumed that the Western world viruses won’t infest into the trench of the developing world!

Either ways, the reality has hit us and hit us hard this time …. Swine is a pandemic!
There you go … while I pen-down … the news flashes …. count reaches 10
